OUR SPA POLICIES - GOOD TO KNOW!
CANCELLATIONS
Please remember that when
you make an appointment, we reserve this time especially for you and a valid
credit card will be required (Visa, Mastercard, or American Express). If you
need to reschedule or cancel an appointment, our policy is outlined
below.
CANCELLATIONS FOR
SPA PARTY BOOKINGS
The final list of guests and their services has to
be filled out on our Spa Party Booking Form and submitted to us by fax (sorry,
we can not accept lists sent by email, unless it is a scan of the original form
with your signature on it). If there will be any changes or cancellations to
the initial list of guests and services, we ask that you please indicate this on
the original form and re-fax it to us no less than ten (10) days prior to the
date of the event. This allows us enough time to give your previously reserved
time slots away to other clients in the event of your
cancellation(s).
PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY
In order to be able
to start your service(s) on time, we recommend that you arrive for your
appointment at least 10-15 minutes early. If you arrive late, we may need to cut
your service short to allow for the next appointment to start on time. You will
still be charged the full amount of the originally scheduled service.
CELL PHONES
To ensure a more tranquil
environment for all our clients, we ask that you silence your cell phone,
pagers, and other noise-making devices upon your arrival. If it is necessary for
you to talk on your cell phone, we would like to ask you to please speak as
quietly as possible so as not to affect the enjoyment of our other spa
customers.
HOW MUCH TO UNDRESS
You can decide
how much you take off, all the way down to your underwear. If you happen to not
have any underwear on the day you arrive, we will provide you with disposable
ones (they don't look nice!). You should feel comfortable during your
experience, and so the spa professional will allow you to remain in your comfort
level as much as possible. During the treatment, the spa professional will
likely drape you will a towel or sheet, and only uncover those part of your body
that they are working on. During some treatments, such as body scrubs, a towel
sometimes isn’t used, so be sure to ask beforehand so you are not surprised!
CONVERSATION DURING YOUR
SERVICES
Whether or not you talk during the experience is entirely up
you. You and the spa professional will make that decision based on your actions.
If you begin the session by talking, the therapist will likely follow the lead
and talk during the entire process, but if you remain silent, it should be a
clear indicator to the therapist that you want to enjoy the experience in
silence. If you really want to be quiet, but the therapist is happily chatting
away, you shouldn’t feel embarrassed to tell him or her that you prefer quiet.
FIND A SITTER
For your maximum
pleasure and in consideration of other spa guests it is recommended that small
children do not accompany you on your spa experience. Minimum age for guests on
the spa premises is 13. A consent form must be signed by a parent or guardian
for children under the age of 18.
GRATUITIES AND TIPPING YOUR
THERAPIST
Similar to when you dine at a restaurant, gratuities are
graciously accepted. If you would like to tip the therapist after your
treatment, a normal tip in the spa industry is about 15 percent of the total of
your services.
THANK YOU
